History and Unwavering Faith

From humble beginnings in 1874, the story of Tabernacle Baptist Church is woven with faith and resilience. Initially organized as Broughton Tabernacle Baptist Church, the congregation embarked on a journey across time, guided by their steadfast belief. By 1919, a vision drove the leaders to relocate to Lawrenceville, creating a solid foundation for future generations. As the church evolved, it embraced change, not for the sake of distinction, but to honor its divine mission. In 2018, we found new roots on Hiram Davis Road, a vibrant part of the community landscape. Today, the church stands as a beacon of continuity, where tradition meets the present, nurturing both the faithful and those seeking salvation.
